Project Description

New Markets Tax Credits were used to expand the St. Croix Chippewa Tribe judicial building in Webster. The new judicial center will increase space for a new domestic violence office, additional space for drug abuse programs and more private court rooms. WHEDA’s involvement was only one piece of a much larger project. The other aspects of the development included an 850-seat amphitheater, a grocery store, gas station and fast-food restaurant, car wash and a recreational vehicle park.
