As a seven-time NMTC allocatee, Central States Development Partners, Inc. has secured $270 million in federal NMTC allocations to date, including $50 million that closed with the CDFI Fund in November 2024. By April 2025, we will close $40 million, expected to generate $361 million in investment, create or retain 2,823 jobs, and serve 24,795 youth and low-income populations. These projects will increase state and local tax revenues by $9.7 million and federal tax revenues by $1.1 million. Our remaining $10 million federal NMTCs will be paired with $10 million from the State of Illinois, closing in Q3 2025. To date, our $220 million in previous allocations has delivered essential services to over 98,000 individuals. Alongside non-affiliated CDEs, we have supported $842 million in total project costs and helped create 12,676 jobs across 15 states. Beyond federal allocations, Central States has secured State NMTCs in Illinois (three-time allocatee), Nevada (two-time allocatee), and Kentucky (two-time allocatee), further expanding job creation, manufacturing, healthcare, and infrastructure development in severely distressed communities. Making the NMTC Program permanent is essential to ensuring continued economic growth and equitable opportunities for underserved communities nationwide.
