In a city that was hard hit by large fortune 500 companies departing the area either due to industry consolidation or manufacturing plant downsizing, the program has offered a chance for businesses to re-tool and reconfigure their operations to adapt to new business opportunities, and afforded the low-income residential population a chance to access improved key services that allow for family stabilization and growth.
