NMTC Project Profiles (Inside the District)

Rural King used the proceeds of a NMTC Loan to finance acquisition and installation costs of certain equipment and machinery to be used by Rural King in its 1,000,000 sq.

The project renovated approximately six thousand (6000) sq. ft. of formerly commercial space into a community needed children’s museum/learning zone.
Financing for the D W Swick-Nelson Funeral Home
Small business financing for the establishment of a restaurant that was slated to close.
A new, 48,100 sq. ft. complex on the Wilmington College campus is bringing jobs, an athletic training program and medical services to a non-metro Clinton County community.
AA $7.55 million investment in Mirac, Inc., a rural Ohio-based electronics assembly and fabrication company with locations in Lynchburg and West Union, that helps keep jobs in rural Ohio.
Rural King used the NMTC to acquire an 800,000 sq. ft. building that was renovated to allow for expanded operations in Waverly, Ohio.

Close to Home created 30 new jobs and was the only assisted living facility located in Lawrence County.
