Chaucer Foods, Inc. (“Chaucer”), an Oregonbased supplier to major food producers around the world, used NMTC financing to open a new freeze-dried food processing facility in Forest Grove that created about 73 jobs. The facility occupies an 85,000-square-foot space in Forest Grove where the unemployment rate was at 14.8 percent when the project was financed.
