Project Description

The Republic Bank Foundation YMCA is a newly constructed 77,000 sq. ft. multi-purpose facility to improve health equity in west Louisville, Kentucky. This joint venture features a new YMCA, a clinic using a patient-centered medical home model, physical therapy practice, counseling services, and a new Republic Bank branch. The new facility will improve healthcare, wellness, and access to financial services in an underserved low-income community. The majority of the facility houses the YMCA including a multi-purpose gymnasium, classrooms, playground, multi-purpose fields, natatorium, and office space. Norton Healthcare will operate the primary care medical home providing comprehensive primary care to children, youth, and adults. ProRehab will operate the physical therapy rehabilitation practice and Family and Children’s Place will operate the family counseling center.
