Project Description

Construction of a 8,049,387 kWht solar project that will serve the University of Arkansas System’s Fort Smith campus.The Fort Smith project is part of the third largest domestic university solar project, which will have 24 solar power plants in 14 different electric utility service areas.The total project is expected to save the University System $145 million in reduced electricity costs over the next 25 years and will reduce carbon emissions by over 2 million metric tons equivalent of removing 5.5 billion passenger car miles from the highway.
