Project Description

Vidalia Mills (VM) is a startup denim manufacturer producing high-quality fabrics using sustainable and eco-friendly processes. VM is located in a Persistent Poverty County in a rural, low-income community with high unemployment. VM procures its cotton from local farmers who are compliant with the E3 Sustainable Cotton program. VM’s highly-efficient equipment will make VM cleaner and more efficient than virtually all existing US textile mills.
