Project Description

The Capitol Theatre renovation is the first anchor project of the $25 million Gordon Square Arts District plan, a national model for how the arts can be catalysts for economic development. Built in 1921 and vacant for two decades, Capitol Theatre has been renovated as a 3-screen, state-of-the-art movie theatre featuring art and independent films.
