Project Description

The project will fund the expansion and renovation of the existing Workforce Solutions Center to increase the size from 49,677 sq. ft. to 103,353 sq. ft.

Easterseals currently operates out of their 49,677 sq. ft. facility and recently purchased the vacant YMCA building located directly adjacent to the Easterseals facility. The project will consist of renovations for both buildings along with construction of a connector addition that will turn the two buildings into one 103,352 sq. ft. building. This expansion will double the size of the packaging and fulfillment center as well as create a new construction simulation lab and a new military and veterans center.

The construction lab will provide training and credentials for participants who want to enter the construction field. The veterans center will offer a suite of support services including employment support, housing referrals, legal assistance, and peer-to-peer support.
