Project Description

New Mexico’s Homewise Inc. received funding to invest in one of Santa Fe’s distressed areas.

The New Markets Tax Credit allocated $5 million to rehabilitated the Siler Road and Agua Fria area in Santa Fe. The area was determined a “severely distressed census tract,” and with the funding and the investment, there is now more 20 energy-efficient homes in the area as a result of it.
