Project Description

The Project involves the new construction of the only children’s crisis stabilization center in the southern half of Miami-Dade County The target population will be underserved, predominately low-income Miami Dade and Monroe County children suffering from severe psychiatric distress who are at risk of harming themselves or others. The Center will care for and treat more than a thousand children/year ages 4-18 from Miami Dade and Monroe Counties without delays and closer to home. The Center will offer critically needed services and be open 24 hours/day.
